“…when they came nearer they saw that the house was built of bread, and roofed with cakes, adn the window was of transparent sugar.
‘We will have some of this,’ said Hansel, ‘and make a fine meal. I will eat a piece of the root, Gretel, and you can have some of the window - that will taste sweet.’
So Hansel reached up and broke off a bit of the roof, just to see how it tasted, and Gretel stood by the window and gnawed at it.” -From “Hansel & Gretel” by the Brothers Grimm

Non-Caffeinated Tea Blend
An herbal tisane based on the gingerbread house our brother and sister duo find themselves munching up while lost in the woods. This blend is in particular based on the traditional German sweet, lebkuchen, and the ingredients you find here wouldn’t be too far off from a traditional recipe. Hexenhaus is a sweet and richly spiced brew that wouldn’t go amiss with a dash of honey or maple, or if you want to try your hand at a latte is makes a delicious gingerbread-y brew.
The flavors and scent will change as the tea steeps, so be sure to take some time while your brew infuses to experience the journey.
